TROY, Ala. -Â Troy Athletics is excited to announce that the annual Troy men's and women's basketball Tipoff Banquet is set for Thursday, October 26, from 6-8 p.m. in Trojan Arena.Â
The banquet allows fans the chance to meet and interact with the student-athletes while hearing from a Q&A panel that includes players and head coaches. Additionally, the banquet features a dinner buffet, drinks, prize drawings and a silent auction.
"The Tipoff Banquet is always one of my favorite nights of the year," men's basketball head coach Scott Cross said. "We love interacting with our awesome, loyal and energetic fans. It is a great opportunity for the fans to get to know and visit with all the basketball players. Our players love the relationships built when they can sit down and have dinner with our amazing supporters. I look forward to seeing you at Trojan Arena to celebrate the beginning of a special year for our basketball programs."
Those wishing to attend the banquet can purchase individual tickets for $85 or a full table for $625. A table includes six seats plus the opportunity to be joined by two basketball student-athletes. There are also sponsorship opportunities available for $1,000. The sponsorship consists of a full table with recognition at the banquet. All proceeds will directly benefit the men's and women's basketball programs.
"The Tipoff Banquet is right around the corner, and we can't wait to engage with our fans at the event," head women's basketball coach Chanda Rigby said. "I appreciate every Trojan who supports us through attending this evening of good food, drinks and discussions of all things Trojan Basketball."
