Troy Cross Country Prepped for NCAA South Regional

TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's cross-country team is set to close out the season at the NCAA South Regional at the John Hunt Cross Country Course in Huntsville, Ala., hosted by North Alabama.
After a two-week break following the Sun Belt Conference Championships, Dylan Nelson, Andy Salgado, Mason Bennett, James Brake, Saindeley Dorsainvil, Tyler Baker, and Alexander Bendig will all compete in the meet.
Last time out, Brake led the men with a 36th place finish in the 8k with a time of 26:44.7. Troy saw three more Trojans in the top 50, following Brake in Dylan Nelson, Mason Bennett, and Saindeley Dorsainvil.
Last season at the regional, the men posted a 23rd-place finish after posting 682 points.
Bennett, who led the Trojans last season at this meet, will look to improve his time and finish after placing 137th with a time of 33:51.83.
