Women’s Tennis Heads to Georgia Southern for Fall Opener

TROY, Alabama- Troy women's tennis will open the 2016 fall season as the team travels to Statesboro Ga. to compete in the Georgia Southern Invitational, a three day tournament.. Singles matches will begin at 8 a.m. CT. The tournament will feature Troy, UNC- Asheville, Savannah State, SCAD, Florida Atlantic, and host team Georgia Southern.
Representing Troy will be Luisa Ferrauti, Efriliya Herlina, Nancy Karaky, Sanae Ohta, Alicia Rodriguez, Hannah Seizer and Jiayuan Xue, all returning players.
The Trojans are coming off a 12-9 record last season as they take to the court for the first time this fall.
