Troy Soccer Adds Payton Seibel to the 2016 Class

TROY, Alabama – The Troy soccer team added Payton Seibel to the 2016 class, Jason Hamilton announced on Monday.

"Payton is one of the first players I saw just a couple weeks after getting the job here at Troy," Hamilton said. We spent a lot of time recruiting her and are happy Troy is where she decided to come. She has a lot of tools as a player, she is crafty on the ball with the ability to finish with both feet as well as having the athleticism to create things on her own in the attacking third."

Seibel, a 5-5 newcomer from Springfield, Ill., completed her high school career at Riverton High School in Riverton, Ill. She was tabbed as an all-city, all-district and all-state first teamer.

She was a leader on her team as a senior and started as a freshman, sophomore and a junior.

Seibel is added to an already impressive class of 11 incoming freshman along with two college transfers.
