Troy to Race in The Sun Belt Championships Saturday

DOTHAN, Alabama – Postseason running will begin this weekend as the Trojans host the Sun Belt Championships on Saturday in Dothan, Ala.

Coming off first place finishes for both the men and women at the Doc Anderson Wiregrass Invitational, Troy will be looking to win a championship on home soil. The women's race will begin at 10 a.m. and the men will follow afterward at 11 a.m.

NOTEWORTHY
• In the last race, the Troy men took every spot from first to seventh. Brennan Garriques led the way in the 8k event at 26:22.5.

• All but two women competed in the Doc Anderson Wiregrass Invitational and the team registered seven top-10 finishes as well.

• The Trojans have the opportunity to advance to the NCAA South Regionals on November 11.
