Football Hits the Practice Field Sunday Morning

TROY, Ala. – The Troy football team worked out for just over three hours in shells (helmets and shoulder pads) on a cool Sunday morning on the practice fields adjacent to Trojan Arena.

The squad worked primarily in 1-on-1's and a variety of position specific drills. The Trojans will strap on full pads for the first time on Monday when they go through another morning workout session.

Troy opens the 2014 season against in-state rival UAB, in Birmingham, on August 30 at Legion Field. Kickoff between the Trojans and Blazers is set for 11 a.m. and the game will be televised live on Fox College Sports.

Season tickets for Troy's six home games are available and can be purchased by calling the Troy ticket office at 1-877-878-WINS, by logging on to TroyTrojans.com or by visiting the Tine Davis Fieldhouse. Single-game tickets are also available.
