Trojans Close ITA Regional

AUBURN, Ala. – The Troy women's tennis team concluded play at the USTA/ITA Southern Regional Championship on Sunday. Brooke Durden was the lone Trojan remaining in the tournament.
Durden fell in the quarterfinals of the B singles consolation draw, falling to Manoela Chiacchio of Louisiana Tech, 6-1, 6-1. Durden won a match on Friday and on Saturday to reach the quarterfinals.

The ITA Regional marked the final tournament of the fall for the Trojans who open dual match play in January with road matches against USC Upstate, Clemson and Charleston Southern.
