BIRMINGHAM – The Troy track & field women competed well at the Birmingham Invitational and Multi Events.

“The women finished out strong in the events,” coach Jill Lancaster said. “I am proud of the performances of each individual.”

Junior Jasmine Patton moved to ninth rank for pentathlon at Troy with a total of 2,823 points in her first ever multi. She placed ninth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.22 seconds. She placed eighth in the shot put with a distance of 9.79 meters. In the final 800-meter run, she placed seventeenth with a time of 2:51.80.

Junior Veronica Bryant placed fourth in the shot put with a distance of 10.76 meters. She placed fifth in the high jump with a distance of 1.61 meters.

Sophomore Adria Hill placed thirteenth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 9.47 seconds. She finished eighteenth in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:53.88.

The Trojans will be in action again on February 4 as the head to the Middle Tennessee State Invitational in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
