TroyTrojans.com offers more ways for the fans to keep up with Troy Athletics
With Gameday, and in this case, Game Weekend quickly approaching; the Troy University Athletics Media Relations Office would like to assist you in finding information you need quickly on the website to assist in making your experience an enjoyable one. Whether you plan on visiting the Troy University campus or watching it online, below you will find links that will help you in your stay.
The Gameday Central link has been activated on the homepage and will be active throughout football season and the majority of the athletic year. It includes links to all audio, video and live stats that Troy Athletics will offer on the day; as well as containing hotel links and a visitor's guide to those visiting the city of Troy. The link will also feature information on both the home team and visiting team for you to fan to learn more about each of the teams participating in the event.
With football beginning this weekend, we invite you to check and see how your favorite former Trojan is doing in the National Football League. There is a link on the football page called “Trojans in the NFL” and it will take you straight to the CBS Alumni Tracker which makes up-to-the-minute updates on its roster.
Also on the football page, catch up on all the latest news involving Troy football with “In the Press.” We make every effort to find stories featuring Troy University football, its players and coaches, and link them to the site for your reading enjoyment.
There is also an added feature right now on the website and that is the downloadable calendar which is located on the front page of every sport page. It is located with the tab Event, located in the same box as Headlines on the right hand side of the page. This feature will allow you to download the schedules that have been entered onto TroyTrojans.com onto your Outlook email and you will be able to keep up with the Trojans throughout the year.
Our last remaining new item is located under Features on the front page. Under that icon, you will find links to the blog site where numerous blogs have been and will be posted, a “Weekly Feature” in which a feature will be written about a student-athlete each week throughout the year, a link for the “New Trojan Arena” construction which links back to the photo gallery of shots of construction each month, “Nominate Your Top Moment” in which we are asking you the fan to nominate your top moment in Sartain Hall's history and a link to the new Digital Media Guides of the Trojans. Thus far, football and soccer have been activated, with volleyball coming in the next few days.
With all that being said, if you can't get to the game you can watch on All-Access; a new feature for the Trojans this year with our new provider – Sidearm Sports. The costs are minimal and the streaming has been great thus far with soccer matches against Wofford and Southeastern Louisiana, as well as the weekly press conference aired. The costs are $5.95 for a 24-hour pass, $9.95 for a recurring monthly pass, $24.95 for sport packages and $89.95 for a yearly pass.
