Three teams are tied for first place in the Sun Belt's east division and two of them - Troy and Florida Atlantic will do battle in Trojan Arena on Saturday night as the Trojans honor its five seniors. Tip off for the game is set for 7:30 pm.

Notes: Troy and Florida Atlantic have a long history from the
time both schools spent as members of the Atlantic Sun Conference ... Troy holds
a 18-6 lead in the all-time series, but dropped a 83-69 game in Boca Raton on
January 7 ... In that game, the Owls hit 6-of-12 first half attempts from deep as
they opened up a 48-29 halftime lead that the Trojans could never recover from

QUICK HITTERS
The Troy Trojans picked up a big win over MTSU on Thursday and will look to make it three in a row on Saturday in another huge game against FAU.
- Troy head coach Don Maestri is 59-55 all-time against current members of the Sun Belt Conference. The win over MTSU on February 4 was Maestri's 370th of his coaching career.
- Troy is averaging a league-best 76.6 ppg and is second in FG% (48.1%) and third in 3-point FG% (38.1). FAU is third in scoring (74.8 ppg) and second in 3-point FG% (39.0). The Owls also rank last in the league in 3-point FG% defense as they allow opponents to shoot nearly 41 percent from beyond the arc.
- The Trojans are currently tied with Florida Atlantic and Middle Tennessee for first place in the Sun Belt's east division. Each squad has an identical 10-5 record in conference games.
- Troy senior all-conference players Brandon Hazzard (13.4 ppg), Richard Delk (11.0 ppg) and Michael Vogler (9.2 ppg) are each averaging more than nine points per game for their careers against FAU.
- The Trojans picked up their 10th win in conference play on Thursday against MTSU. That marked just the second 10-win Sun Belt season in Troy's tenure as a member of the conference. The Trojans went 14-4 in league play a season ago for their first-ever double-digit conference season.
- Senior Michael Vogler needs just 11 points to break into the division I scoring list. Fellow senior Yamene Coleman ranks sixth on Troy's single-season rebound list with 209 and needs seven to tie for fifth place. The season record is 258 by Rob Lewin (2002-03).
