Troy Looks To Take Series in Sunday Finale

NEW ORLEANS - After splitting a doubleheader on Saturday, the Trojans will try to win their weekend series in New Orleans when they take on the Privateers at 1 p.m.
The game will be broadcast on WTBF-FM 94.7 with Barry McKnight and Ricky Hazel calling the action. The game will also be available via web streaming through www.TroyTrojans.com. Live stats and free audio will also be available through the Troy Athletics web site.
The Trojans (14-10, 3-5) are looking to win their first Sun Belt Conference series of the season. Troy dropped league series on the road at FIU and at home against Western Kentucky the first two weeks of the league season.
The Privateers (9-15, 4-7) will be looking to win their second straight series, after taking two of three from South Alabama last week.
On the mound, the Privateers are expected to send sophomore right-hander Cory Myers (1-2, 6.75) out to start against the Trojans. The Trojans will counter with senior left-hander Travis Burge (1-1, 4.88).
