Trojans To Appear On CSS

TROY, Ala. - The Troy women's basketball team is in the midst of the second-best start in school history and will make their television debut Saturday against New Orleans at home.
The game is the Sun Belt Conference game of the week this weekend, and will be aired on CSS through SBC-TV. The game is set to tip at 11:07 am inside the walls of Trojan Arena, which will be the first home game televised at the home of the Trojans in the last three years.
Although the Trojans will be playing at home, the Troy University Athletics Department promotions team would like the fans in attendance to come out and support a worthy cause at the same time.
The department will be throwing out t-shirts throughout the game and will also have a contest at halftime to benefit Toys for Tots. Anyone that wants to participate can bring a stuffed animal to the game and write their name on the tag. At halftime, everyone will throw their toy towards center court. The person that gets closest to center court will win a prize pack courtesy of Troy Athletics.
These toys will be donated to the Toys for Tots.
