I told some body the other day that it is finally starting to feel like football season to me. I put up my first "player pass" sign of the season. That means our first game is just over a week away. Egad, what will I wear?
If any of you were wondering, there are still a few tickets left for our first game against MTSU, and we will be taking orders for those until next week.
Last Friday was the deadline for LSU tickets and we are sold out. I hope to have those tickets out to everyone by the beginning of next week, but my plans don't always work the way I want them to. Ask me sometime about giving my cat a bath.
Before I leave the topic of Friday, I have to give kudos to Adam and Luke, two great guys that work in my office and put up with me. Friday was crazy, and they hung in there and got things done.
Our next deadline is for Ohio State, which is September 5th. I know that seems like a long way off, but it will go by quickly. Unfortunately, I have not seen a manifest or seating chart for that game so I can not tell you where our seats will be. Maybe I will know more about that next week.
Since last Tuesday we have sent out more than 500 packages of season tickets. I have to thank Cody Ash and Josh Wildermuth and his crew for helping me get things put together. They did a great job in a short amount of time.
Most of the tickets were sent out via UPS, and have gone out in three waves. If you have not gotten yours yet, don't panic. There are still more to be printed and sent out. If you have Stadium Club tickets, don't panic. Those will go out soon.
It's after 5 p.m. and the phones are finally quite, so I think I'll go process a few more orders.
