Williams Shuts Out FSU, Then Troy falls in Game 2

Williams dazzled the Graf Field crowd as she scattered four hits over seven innings. She struck out a career-high 12 batters in the first shutout by the Trojans in 2008.
Jessica Lyle led the Trojans at the plate with three hits and one run batted in. Hillary Hughes (2-for-4) belted her first home run of the season in the first inning to get
Game Two:
The Trojans fell behind 1-0 at the end of the first inning, but bounced back, scoring two runs in the second when Courtney Davis scored on an error by the first baseman and Lassiter doubled in Lyle.
Jessica Gilmore would also come around and score after an error by Hughes giving FSU a 3-2 lead.
Lighting failure at Graf Field led to a 12 minute delay in the middle of the sixth inning, before the field crew was able to get the lights operational.
