Trojans Fall to FAU, 4-1

BOCA RATON, Fla. ? Leading at halftime, the Troy Trojans allowed four goals in the second half to drop Friday's match to Florida Atlantic 4-1 in Sun Belt soccer action.
Bridget Duke started the scoring with her sixth goal of the season off a free kick. She finished the day with four shots on goal to lead Troy (6-8-2).
Pacing Florida Atlantic was Lauren Hyvonen with two goals. Jannica Tjeder and Natalie D'Oria also scored for the Owls.
"Give credit to FAU, they did a great job tonight. We just did not do what we needed to do in the second half," head coach Chris Bentley said.
Despite allowing the four goals, Troy keeper Ashley Branham recorded 10 saves for the match. She now has 96 saves on the year.
