ITTA BENA, Miss. - Sydney Beasley scored an unassisted goal in the 81st minute as the Troy Trojans defeated the Mississippi Valley State Devilettes by a score of 1-0 in soccer action on Sunday.

Karla Smith made six saves in goal for the Trojans who improved to 3-5-0 on the season.

Troy will play its next match on Friday, September 21 at Jacksonville State before returning home on Sunday, September 23 to face Alabama State.

Admission to all home soccer matches is free.
