Trojans Continue Preparations for Arkansas

“We are starting to get ready for our opener,” head coach Larry Blakeney said. “We are making strides but we still have to get better.”
Several players have had bumps and bruises during the past few weeks of practice but everyone held their breath when sophomore linebacker Boris Lee went down during Saturday's scrimmage. Lee had to be helped from the field after going down.
“Boris is going to be fine,” defensive coordinator Jeremy Rowell said. “He just got a good bruise but he will be fine and when he comes back he will be ready to go.”
The Trojans will wrap up the week with a mock scrimmage Saturday morning.
The festivities will begin at 2:00 p.m. with members from the football team, women's soccer team, the volleyball team, and the Trojan cheerleaders on hand to sign autographs.
