Trojans Move Practice because of Heat

TROY Ala.- The Troy Trojans practiced for three hours tonight to stay out of the mid-day heat as they continue to get ready for their second scrimmage Saturday morning.

“I felt like we got alot done tonight in the cooler weather,” head coach Larry Blakeney said. “We are still trying to get all of our guys healthy. We've had a few sick and a few banged up.”

The Trojans will continue practicing in the evening until Saturday's scrimmage.

“We will be in pads tomorrow and helmets on Friday to get our legs under us for Saturday,” Blakeney said. “We still have a lot of work to do.”

The scrimmage will begin at 10 a.m. All practices are open to the public.
