Bares Receives All-Conference Honors

Bares ended the 2007 regular season with a record of 15-2. Bares' top-three wins came over top-ranked teams.
Bares beat one of the country's best, No.5 Clemson, as she defeated No. 78 Carol Salge 6-4, 7-5. Bares also defeated conference foe No. 52 South Alabama as she won her match with Michaela Babicova 6-4, 6-4.
Bares also defeated Jennifer Chaz 7-5, 6-3 of No. 48 SMU.
The three day tournament runs from Friday through Sunday (April 20-22) with competition taking place at the Waranch Tennis Complex all three days and several matches taking place at the Goldfield Tennis Center on Friday.
The women's team, which is seeded fifth, will face 12th-seed North Texas at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. The winner of that match will play in the second round of the tournament at 6:30 p.m. on Friday against fourth seed Louisiana-Lafayette.
The men's team, seeded sixth, will begin the tournament at 11:30 a.m. on Friday when it faces three-seed Denver. The winner of the match will advance to the semi-finals of the tournament.
