Trojan Softball Continues Preparation

Troy was victorious last weekend over Central Alabama by a score of 1-0 with freshman Rocky Paige picking up her second victory of the fall. The Trojans also scored a 11-0 victory over Alabama Southern in a game that was completed in five innings.
The Trojans were named the winner of Fall Fling II. They also won their first fall tournament, Fall Fling I.
This weekend Troy will travel to Birmingham to face Samford University at 6 pm on Friday in a controlled scrimmage before heading to Tallahassee, Florida on Sunday to match-up against Chipola Junior College at 12 pm and Tallahassee Community College at 2 pm.
Head coach Melanie Davis believes all three games will be beneficial to her squad.
All three opponents will provide us with a challenge and an opportunity to continue to evaluate our returnees as well as our new talent,” Davis said.
