Final Day Of Wiregrass Classic Washed Out

The final day of play in the Fifth Annual Screentech Wiregrass Baseball Classic in Dothan, Ala., was cancelled because of rain. Sunday's final day of the round-robin tournament was to have included a Big 10 matchup between Ohio State and Iowa as well as a showdown between future Sun Belt Conference foes Troy and Middle Tennessee. The Troy Trojans, 2-0 in the tournament and 6-3 on the season, will return to action Wednesday at Riddle-Pace Field in Troy when intra-state rivals Jacksonville State visits for a 6 p.m. game.
