Trojans Head to Starkville, Miss. for Bulldog Classic

Troy University Softball will get back into tournament play when it travels to Starkville, Miss. to take part in the Bulldog Classic Feb. 18-20. Other teams participating in the tournament will be Tennessee Tech and Tulsa.

The Trojans last faced Mississippi State in 1997 at the TSU Invitational. MSU defeated the Trojans on consecutive days. The Lady Bulldogs are 2-0 vs. the Trojans.

Troy and Tennessee Tech last met in March of 1996 when the Trojans dropped the game 2-1.

This will be the first meeting between Tulsa and Troy.
The Golden Hurricanes compete in the Western Athletic Conference.

Troy will open up the 2005 Bulldog Classic with Tennessee Tech at 10 a.m. on Friday. The Trojans will then go on to face Tulsa at 12 p.m. Live stats will be provided by visiting TroyTrojans.com.
